Vodpod videos no longer available.
The obsession continues for me and Band of Skulls. I love their debut album, Baby Darling Dollface Honey. Here’s the first video for the single, “I Know What I Am.” Does bassist Emma look like Chrissie Hynde here or what? Download the free MP3 for ‘Blood‘.

Video: The Veils – “Sun Gangs” (Acoustic Session)
Finn Andrews of The Veils performs an acoustic version of the title track from the band’s new album, “Sun Gangs”. I adore this song and seeing this performance makes me so excited for their upcoming performance at Bottom of the Hill on July 13. Tickets are still available at the time of this post. And to sweeten the pot Foreign Born will be joining them. Ahhh!

Video: EELS – “Prizefighter”
Here’s the latest video from the new EELS album, Hombre Lobo, released this week. I eagerly awaited this album for months and have been drinking it in all week. Maybe my excitement got the best of me because….well, you know how you see a trailer for a movie then get all excited for it because it looks so good, then you see it and realize the best parts of the movie were in the trailer? My first listen left me feeling a little like that. But I’m not giving up. I think this album is in the grower category, not the shower. I’ll report back soon.
