Painted Palms – “I Will Truck” (Dirty Projectors Cover)
Canopy, the debut EP of the half San Francisco-based duo, Painted Palms, is out now on Secretly Canadian. The pair have been on quite a ride since they self released the album earlier this year, grabbing the attention of tastemaker label Secretly Canadian just days after blogs posted the first tracks. Of Montreal also took note and booked the band as the main support for their 26 date tour this year. Not too shabby for their first go! With a label behind them, they’ve scheduled a West Coast tour in support of their new EP, kicking off in San Francisco July 21 at Slims supporting Memory Tapes. Nice line up indeed.
