The Temper Trap – “Sweet Disposition”

God damn, these guys blew my mind in Austin.  One of my favorite live performances and one of my favorite albums from ’09.  What a voice, what a drummer.  These Aussies are going to be huge.  Mark my word. Check out their new video for the track “Sweet Disposition” off the album Conditions. Then sing out loud with me…”A moment, a love, a dream, a laugh, a kiss, a cry, our rights, our wrongs….Won’t stop till it’s over/ Won’t stop till you surrender.

  1. This song is the only song on Canadian radio that doesn’t make me want to scream.

The intro is way too U2/Streets Have No Name, but it’s a really catchy tune. The rest of the album really reminds me of Bloc Party too.

    • Hey Mike! I hear ya. It’s an anomaly for me too. I typically loathe falsetto male vocals but something about these guys just work on all levels. The drummer is awesome and they were sooo good live in Austin last week. They’re going to be big!
